aaa is a two-day festival in Wellington bringing together New Zealand and international sound artists and electronic musicians.
Resonating with Wellington's dynamic music and arts scenes, aaa promotes electronic music, sound art, and audiovisual artwork within New Zealand. The festival encompasses live performances, showings of audiovisual works, and sound art installations, curated to foster diversity and excellence and to stimulate connections between artists and audiences. Presented by the New Zealand School of Music | Te Kōki at Victoria University of Wellington, the festival highlights international and Wellington-based artists working at the cutting edge of electronic/experimental music and sound art. aaa festival features two evening concerts at City Gallery Wellington – Friday and Saturday 28-29 September 2018 – and a three-day exhibition of sound and audiovisual art at Potocki Paterson gallery.
